Tauck Named To Travel Magazine’s
“World’s Best” List For Ninth Consecutive Year

NORWALK, CT (July 20, 2006) For the ninth straight year Tauck World Discovery of Norwalk, CT is featured prominently in Travel + Leisure magazine’s exclusive “World’s Best Awards.” The awards, voted on by the magazine’s subscribers, list readers’ top picks in a number of categories including “World’s Best Safari Outfitter and Tour Operator.” Out of the thousands of safari and tour companies across the globe, Tauck was an impressive fourth on the list.

Although Tauck’s ranking typically fluctuates slightly from year-to-year, the company has been the most consistent name in the tour/safari category since the awards’ debut in the late 1990s. In fact, Tauck is the only company to be in the awards’ “top ten” list every year since 1998. Tauck has captured the #1 ranking three times in the past nine years, been in the “top two” in six out of the past nine years, and been in the “top five” in eight out of the past nine years.

In the readers’ balloting Tauck received an overall numeric score of 90 points this year, the company’s highest numeric score in the awards since 2002. In fact, Tauck’s numeric score this year is actually higher than their numeric score in two of the three years when they won the World’s Best award (1998 and 2000).
