Glimpse the grandeur of nature in this dramatic landscape of active volcanoes, misty cloud forests, the powerful Pacific Ocean, and the mysterious jungle. Visits to a butterfly sanctuary, a tropical agricultural college and a jungle cruise provide up-close views of nature. Costa Rica travel requires active participation in order to get the most out of the adventure, including challenging hiking and walking on suspension birdges high above ground in the rain forest canopy; this tour also features river float trips, waterway cruises, and sightseeing excursions. Excursions feature expert naturalists who offer insights into the unique ecosystems, as well as native birds and wildlife.
